Our Story

CCPSE was born from a meeting in 2017 in Miami, Florida, between two Haitians driven by the same dream: to help their country. Albertho Lapierre — a renowned technician, former OAS department director in Southeast Haiti, former IT manager at Cap Lamandou, MINUSTAH administrative assistant, General Supervisor at ONI, and founder of CAT Info computer school in Jacmel in 2006 — was going through a difficult time after the loss of his parents. It was during this trip to Florida that he met Ms. Belinda Jean-Noel, a Data Entry graduate with a master's degree in technology — a woman from the Cap-Haïtien coast, passionate about technology and deeply committed to Haiti.

Together, they designed the projet CCPSE. With no funding, they worked and documented their vision. Albertho made a courageous decision: to become a truck driver for over 7 years to finance the construction of the building. Belinda joined him on this journey. He demolished his own home in Jacmel, near Cap Marécheaux, close to the Bois-Bœuf grounds, to build a 7-classroom facility — with no outside financial support, but with Belinda's unwavering moral support. Today, the Centre is a reality. Belinda continues to support the institution through her company BAL Consulting Services, subsidizing students as best she can. The building, designed to welcome over 1,800 students per day across two floors, is still awaiting the roof of the first floor. We call on every Haitian — in Haiti or abroad — to join us through material donations or cash contributions — so this dream can become fully realized.
